The world as I see it is based upon one's inherent ability to market either themselves, or their business interest correctly. The prime reason that most people fail in any business could be found in one term, location. In offline businesses, the location of a business interest is paramount. The old adage of no traffic to the store would equal no sales should be quite apparent. The same goes with an online business. Your location on the Internet, with high traffic, or niche marketing keywords, should be the primary goal of the business owner. It is a sad but true fact that almost no one involved in the MLM or network marketing business has any real clue on how to properly educate themselves on the process, and move steadily forward, on a day by day basis, until the location is achieved and held consistently.
The pseudo gurus out there will tell you that the power is in the list. So, in essence, building a huge email list should provide everything that any marketer needs to make sales, right? Well, in a perfect world, this might very well be the case, but in the real world, almost no email delivers anyway. I know personally that I have a very difficult time in getting an email, any email out to anyone. There must be some liberal minded, pencil toting, tape around the glasses moron, that is telling everyone which email that they will receive, and which email they will not receive. In other words, email marketing is pretty much a dead deal in marketing a business on the Internet. This is not to say that being effective with email lists can work, but for most MLM pitch men and women, that is nothing short of wasting valuable time in pursuing. It goes without saying that most who enter the hallowed halls of buying a franchise business model will soon find themselves wrapped in a maze of hard work, no profit, confusion and bewilderment. They fell for the latest and greatest widget franchise, that was advertised by hacking pitch men and ad agencies, that have no clue what real marketing and research really is all about..
All types of businesses pursued should come with a provision that reads, "you must come fully prepared to research your market before entering! Without this type of knowledge and insight, any business will be doomed to fail in today's economy. I had the rare opportunity to sit in on one of the best webinars I have attended by Gudrun Smith, well known entrepreneur and personal development mentor, concerning How To Create A Business Plan. She did an extremely good job at telling the truth about creating a business plan, and following it to the letter until goals and profitability are well in tow. It was also surprising at the lack of turn out to the webinar that I saw. This leads me to know for a fact that cultural apathy is indeed rampant in the good old USA today. After all, attending a webinar is about the simplest and best way to gain insight and information on the real ways to market any business in todays fast paced world. The real killer in this society is apathy, and believe you me, its a far bigger problem than one might presuppose. I see it everywhere that I go. No one really wants to do anything, and is depending on the US to pull their wings out of the fire. For me, this is not the case.
So what is the answer to the riddle of surviving in today's economic doldrums? Education, knowledge, insight, perspectives and good old fashioned hard work will see anyone through the bad times. Yes, I know its an old fashioned thinking style, but the same values that made this country great are still there, they have simply been thwarted by liberal thinking. Its time for the conservatives to stand together and say that we will survive, no matter what is thrown in our path!

WordPress Is History!
I am through with the worst blogging system found on Google today called WordPress. Within this amazingly obscure and easy to hack system, one finds the most amazing amount of bad information, bad coding, bad template construction and the list goes on and on.
I have built numerous WordPress blogs over the years, but as of late, the system keeps having security updates, sometime on a daily basis, just to try to keep the scammers, spammers, and black hat guys at bay. Obviously they are not doing a very good job of it.
On this positive note, it should be noted that the site: Butch Hamilton, is now hosted on the Veretekk system Platinum Control Panel blogger drone series. On can clearly see the benefits of doing this, and the question comes to my mind. Why is everyone marketing goods and services on Google today, NOT buying a Veretekk Gold System?

If you think that business, real business is about guys dressed in three piece suits, driving Rolls Royce automobiles to their high corporate jobs, then think again. Real business is run by solid, well grounded red-necked conservatives, like me. I am not about the hype of the Internet, and as a matter of fact, find most of the Information on Google total BS. Perhpas the following will explain more about me, and my business.
I was listening to Hank Williams song: Country Boy Can Survive, and I thought this would be an excellent way to convey not only my thinking about life in general, but also how it applies precisely to surviving using network marketing as a business model.

The fact is, I am a country boy, born and raised in the country. I am a natural born survivor of things that would make modern man shake and shimmer all over. They are trying to lie, cheat, steal and basically do not good to others, by their techniques and strategies. It is no small wonder that good, honest and hard working people are afraid of anything that deal with the Internet, and that could even include email. The scammers of this world have literally tried to take over nearly all of the good parts of the online world, and make it an evil good for nothing entity. And, by the way, they are doing a good job of it, as even myself, someone who has worked online for many years, is very skeptical when it comes to purchasing something, or finding out more information about something.
It would be very easy to fall into with the no gooders of the Internet. One could choose to lie to others about how much money that they are making. One could choose to take the age old "fake it until you make it" motto. After all, a little white lie hurts no one, right? One could choose to buy leads from lead scrapers who sell those leads to people who use iBuzzpro automated phone dialing systems. People could buy leads and try to call these so-called fresh prospects, only to get some Grandma on the line who just wanted to do something with her time, and found a site where she submitted her email and phone number. After all, Grandma asked for it, right?
Have you ever tried to find out about a job by going online? Well, I can tell you for a fact that if you fill out a contact form for this, you will be literally inundated with phone calls wanting to sell you an education, or a package deal so that you can go find a job! Oh yeah, been personal witness to that scam. That is just as big a scam as filling out the supposed warranty card for that new blender you just bought, thinking that you are doing the right thing. Guess what. You just entered your name, email address and phone number into a huge database, and you will begin getting all kinds of offers you did not want, and did not even ask for!
Is There Any Good Left on Google?
You would begin to wonder, but actually, yes there is. There are many people who work, as I do, run their business right, tell the truth and basically live the right way, even though they work in the mud hole of the universe called the Internet. These hard working and industrious people are busy out there promoting their sites, telling the truth in their articles, and are an actual credits to the Internet world. It is indeed rare; however, to locate these people. You must sift through the garbage to find the good ones!

Looking back over time, the franchise has been around for many years. That process actually began with the Singer Sawing Machine Opportunity.
In the 1850's the Singer Company produced sewing machines but didn't have enough capital to actually pay their salesmen salaries. Instead, they created a network of dealers. Learn HTML - w3schools.com For those who are new to the whole aspect of marketing websites on Google, it will be necessary to learn basic HTML coding. The w3 Schools site is an exceptionally good place to learn this process. Make it a habit to go and begin to learn how to create clean HTML code and hyperlinks. This is a totally free service, and one that I highly recommend.
Google Keyword Selector Tool - This is an excellent resource to begin to learn the process of choosing effective keywords for online promoting purposes. This is NOT the final authority in learning how to choose keywords, as the process takes a great deal of time to learn to master correctly. This keyword tool should be used as a simple guideline only.

Though this process should be secondary to the overall aspect of writing and publishing content, using recordings for search engine placement will become more apparent as one moves along in the process. Using both audio and video recordings to advertise your business is an element that you will want to add at some point. Below are my personal preferences.
Camtasia by Tech Smith - This recording system is one of the best ones to use. It is a recorder that will require some patience in learning, but the results will be exceptional.
AllCapture by balesio - This is another exceptional screen recording system. It is relatively inexpensive to purchase, and the results found by using it to create video presentations is excellent.
MP3MyMP3 Sound Recorder - This is a great free audio MP3 recorder to use for all types of audio recordings. IT is a free service and offers a way to make recordings for Podcast that will increase notoriety and presence on the Internet for marketing purposes.
Additional Software Downloads
Be aware that downloading software from the Internet can be a risky business. I only recommend using trusted sites to accomplish this. I find that researching and using services like the following will provide a safe environment to download and find the best software to use for online promoting purposes.
Cnet.com - I always find safe and reliable software downloads by using this service. They have a broad range of both free and paid services to use.
Free-mart.net - In Veretekk, there is a great place to find software. Here, you can find the best software for all uses, and often times, outdated programs are still available.

Services are available online for all types of promoting. Most of these are free services, and should be considered for your online promoting needs. Learning how to use the services found below will increase your presence online over time. Becoming involved with this social community will increase knowledge, and will also served as a guideline to learn to choose the good business models. Download the Alexa.com toolbar, and begin using it each and every day to research your own site, and others as well. There is an Internet education to be found in learning all there is to know about site implementation and construction.
Add Your URL to Google - This basic site submission tool is used on a regular basis for ALL of your live submitted content. It should become a habit to submit your sites to Google for proper indexing.

I would be the first to say that I have never much cared for the term social media. That term conjures up many things for me personally, like the biggest time waster on Google today called Facebook. Cold shivers run up and down my spine when I do login there, which is not that often by the way, and I see the mindless, and mind numbing rhetoric that is posted there so many times that I lose count, and interest, very quickly. YouTube, another of my least favorite social media groups, takes great pride in letting ridiculous nose pickers keep their videos forever; however, for those of us interested in using their exclusive club for things like promoting a business model, heaven forbid! In case the reader has not seen my true thoughts on YouTube, visit the timely video called Internet Censorship, which will tell the actual story about the inner workings of this so called, social media group. Now, we turn our thoughts and perspectives to what I personally believe, is the best social media system that I have seen so far.
It did take me a while to wrap my head around LinkedIn, but the way that I approach using any site, I take and visualize first, what I wish to accomplish. I check all the different features, and more importantly for my use, I look at the overall performance listed on the search engines for the service. In other words, would I spend my time in using,m posting and promoting this service to others? The answer to this question only comes to me after doing my due diligence and research. I am not, by nature, able to promote something to others that is not real. I only look for value and substance, and this is exactly what I have found within the LinkedIn system.
LinkedIn Groups
I have just started developing some groups within LinkedIn, and I find this a great way to get messages out live on Google where others will find it, and perhaps respond positively. Some of the groups I have started are found below, with a brief explanation of each of them.
Butch Hamiltons Conference Room - In this group, the first one I started, I decided to copy over from my site: Butch Hamiltons Conference Room, some of the same topics of interest that I use there when conducting my search engine optimization training classes for Veretekk. I invited other users to come and share their ideas, and so far, the response has been quite good. The LinkedIn groups are very flexible, and the total appeal for me is that they are incredibly powerful for Google promoting.
What Is a Backlink? - In this LinkedIn Group, I go into the art of creative positive and relevant backlinks for search engine optimization purposes. While I find no really good information, and mostly sales pitches about their importance, I figured to dispel many of the rumors going around the Internet, and actually provide real people with solutions to marketing their businesses. Search Engine Optimization Training and Mentoring - In this LinkedIn Group, I decided to keep those involved in the automated marketing system called Veretekk, updated with the latest ideas and systems that are available within it. The response from other Veretekk Gold Subscribers has been outstanding, and I am positive in the future, this LinkedIn Group will become very powerful.
All in all, I would rate LinkedIn, on a scale of 1-10, with a definite 10! All the links provided in this article are safe to view, and evaluate.

Country Boys Can Survive!
I was listening to Hank Williams song: Country Boy Can Survive, and I thought this would be an excellent way to convey not only my thinking about life in general, but also how it applies precisely to surviving using network marketing as a business model.

My stand on life and living is rather unique in the world of the Internet. Cultural Apathy
I am seeing a new trend in the USA, and that is one of total and undeniable cultural apathy. No matter where one goes, or to whom one speaks, there seems to be a cloud of apathy that hangs thick over the culture today. As a people, we have been systematically striped of the good old American Dream, the dream that made this country what it is today, and made us an apathetic, entitlement rich culture where most are content to stand by and just watch, hope and pray that things will get better. Daily, we do not make much effort towards building a sound financial future, rather a good part of the people are looking to the Government, as a solution to the problems that we face economically today.
This is very apparent in the national airports where once, the makes dominated the baggage handling jobs, and now, young females have taken over many positions. The young modern male is not going to work unless they can start out right out of the gate making over $100K per year. Young women seem to be making the move to take the jobs, earn the living and basically have set themselves as the new leaders in the world. This is a good indicator of our modern culture. We are not going to move and shake, rather we are content to sit and idly think that things will get better. We are not willing to stand up and take charge any longer.

As stated before, the term MLM can make many hang their heads in disgust, as quite possibly they have been financially injured by an association with some MLM or network marketing company. To be sure, the Internet is full of lies and liars, and the MLM industry is responsible for many people being stripped of their money, time and pride.
Network marketing is not to blame for this, and as a matter of fact, most any business model one can name is a product of the pyramid structure. The corporation is the head, and immediately below, the various distributors fall within the lower levels of the hierarchy. Even the Government of the USA is a pyramid, whether we like the sound of it or not. There is always an entity at the top of anything that we pursue in life, and we fall with the hierarchical structure somewhere down below.
In network marketing, we see that many substantial independent business men and women do incredibly well, while the masses do almost nothing. The fact of the matter is that these companies offer little, as stated before, in the actual ways to build and promote the business to others. What happens as a result of that is the age old sites faking it until they make it routine. This is common place with the claims of instant riches, success and money flowing from an Internet type business venture.
The fact of the matter is, network marketing is like any offline business one can name. It will take years to achieve success and notoriety. For myself, I have been able to dig deeply into exactly the way that the Internet functions, and ii is a simple fact that I can put my information where people will see, and respond.

Buying leads to promote a business is simply playing a fools game of chance. Most do not realize that that so-called special one of a kind lead has been resold to others, just like you, hundreds, and quite possibly thousands of times. Needless to say that when you pick up the phone to call this fresh prospect, the results you will have will most likely not connect with the perception that you have.
Leads are necessary, but in fact, very perplexing and frustrating for most. That lead is a real person. That lead may become your best marketer. That lead deserves attention and respect. That lead could be the difference in your success, or failure. The whole aspect of lead generation deals precisely on how you approach the lead in question.
Let us learn more about leads below.
A lead, or a sales lead, or Sales Lead, is the identification of a person or entity that has the interest and authority to purchase a product or service. This step represents the first stage of a sales process. The lead may have a corporation or business associated (a B2B lead) with the person(s). Sales leads are generic leads - i.e. a person signs up for a type of offer, instead of a particular company or brand. Sales leads come from either lead generation companies processes such as trade fair|trade shows, direct marketing, advertising, Internet marketing, spam, gimmicks, or from sales person prospecting activities such as cold calling. For a sales lead to qualify as a sales prospect, or equivalently to move a lead from the process step sales lead to the process sales prospect, qualification must be performed and evaluated. Typically this involves identifying by direct interrogation the lead's product applicability, availability of funding and time frame for purchase. This is also the entry point of a sales tunnel, sales funnel or sales pipeline. A lead that is generated via a lead capture page is a potential sale. It all depends on the approach that the LCP owner uses to speak with that prospect, that will determine the final outcome.
Some companies providing sales leads become the business's one source of leads by integrating outbound calling with email and postal campaigns to create a multi-touch lead. Related to the idea of multi-touch leads is the "Seven Contact to Sale Theory," which delivers leads that start with an outbound call, followed by an email and sometimes postal piece. By the time the lead purchaser gets the lead, the customer is familiar with their brand and has an opportunity to request additional information.
When buying Internet leads from a marketing company there are a wide range of different products depending on how the leads are sold and the lead companies polices. Exclusive Internet leads are sold to one company, but depending on the company may be sold again the next day as a shared lead or put into a cherry picking system. Shared leads are sold to multiple companies, each lead company has a different policy on the number of times sold as the more a lead is sold the less value/quality it becomes. Many leads are sold as aged, this means the lead is anywhere from 1day to over a year old although they are usually sold based on different such as 1-7, 30-60, 6090 days old.
Once a qualified lead exists, additional operations may be performed such as background research on the lead's employer, general market of the lead, contact information beyond that provided initially or other information useful for contacting and evaluating a lead for elevation to prospect, the next sales step.
Sales leads are typically generated for closing a sale. As a result, they are information heavy - a sales lead would contain not only the basic information of a person (such as First Name, Last Name, Email, etc.), but also more detailed information such as FICO Score, Household Income, etc. In complete contrast, marketing leads contain only the basic contact information of a person, such as Name, Email and Social Networking handle. Advertisers use the information contained in a marketing lead to build a long-term relationship with the consumer via email, Facebook, Twitter or a brand community site.
If a sales lead eventually makes a purchase, this is called conversion and a closed sale. The ratio of sales leads that convert is often referred to as the conversion rate, a way to measure the effectiveness of a sales process, sales team, or sales person.

My experience with the TLD .BIZ has been that it is a quite difficult domain to gain much traction on the Internet; however, since I do own BUTCHHAMILTON.BIZ, I thought that I would experiment just a bit and see if I can indeed, draw some interest to this site by fully implementing and integrating the powerful promoting system called Veretekk.
Some background insights into the .BIZ domain is noted here: biz is a generic top-level domain (gTLD) in the Domain Name System of the Internet. It is intended for registration of domains to be used by businesses. The name is a phonetic spelling of the first syllable of business.

How to Create Titles
The title of any live submission found on Google today is exactly where the search engine spiders will place that information. The more specific, and the more diligent that one pursues this course of action in the overall aspects of search engine optimization, the better the results will be.
In this video, I chose the Google category RSS. This is a heavy keyword wit about 1,200,000 searches per month. I thought that this would be an excellent category to choose, as it will be the SEO campaign that I have put together for the Veretekk members to actually see and follow this process to the letter.
E would need additional tools and systems to begin thinking about pursuing this keyword phrase; therefore, I added: http://rss.veretekk.com and http://rss.seoexperttechniques.com to help me to achieve the desired position on Google that I am pursuing. Take note of the source codes on both of these sites, and you will see the harmonious blending of proper titles, follow up with metatags and keywords as well. I am also implementing the Veretekk RSS feed into this whole campaign.
After the initial setup of my various systems, I then set about the path to create content. I used RSS as the title of the blog and the RSS feeds as well. In other words, total harmony with the process that I am using in creating this powerful search engine optimization campaign.

RSS (originally RDF Site Summary, often dubbed Really Simple Syndication) is a family of web feed formats used to publish frequently updated workssuch as blog entries, news headlines, audio, and videoin a standardized format. So how in the world does this term free apply in marketing? Well, obviously it applies a lot as most people will advertise free stuff. You know the drill: "free tools, free training, free signups, free ads, free ad submission, free site builders, free conference rooms, free ad blasters, free leads, free lead generation, blast out your ad for free, signup for free and all the rest of the hooch that is seen in marketing. All sites do it. All people in Internet marketing do it. As a matter of fact, we have become so dulled by the word free, that we just blindly signup and then get angry because the company is spamming the inbox. Well my friend, YOU gave them that right when you signed up for free! So, put on your big boy pants and get over it. You asked for free, and you are getting free emails right now advertising more free stuff.
Quite frankly, I am NOT looking for people to signup for my free stuff. I will NEVER get paid for my efforts, and certainly am going to provide nothing on a free signup. I have a rule, and that rule is "unless you are willing to pay me for knowledge and expertise, get lost." I have no time for free mentality when it comes to putting meat and potatoes on my table. That sure as the world does NOT come for free, does it?
If you are marketing, trying to convince someone to signup for free, then you my friend, are a complete fool. If you want a lot of free people in your downline, then its ok. But, if you are trying to make money from your Internet business, then certainly you want to get paid, right? The answer is so simple. STOP PROMOTING FREE!
If you have something of great value, and promote it as free, then obviously people are going to say, "oh yeah, that must really be special, since its free!" People on the Internet today are savvy, and well versed in how the Internet works on Google. They are weary from idiots trying to coerce them into signing up for free, then expecting to get great results from their free program.
It has been said that the best things in life are free. If that is true, then how will we eat, pay mortgages, have Internet access, buy computers and all the rest of the things that we have to have to build a business with today?

Some time ago, I purchased the domain name EMMALOTT.COM. I planned on using this domain name for professional profile branding purposes; however, I was not sure at what point I would fully implement the process of promoting that name. Since then, I have a clear focus and intent on how the domain will be used, and I thought it might make interesting reading to show and document the actual processes that I implement in creating a profile on Google for promoting purposes. The article will be an ongoing process as I go through all the steps that I use in the process called search engine optimization for a site. The process will be detailed; however, it will show actual processes used, and the results achieved by successfully promoting any domain to a particular keyword position on the Internet.
I always visualize where I wish the domain name to go on the search engines. For myself, this visualization, and actually seeing where the information will be placed, is always the first step in successful promoting. Search engine optimization is much more than most people tend to realize. It is highly important to setup in one's mind first, the intent and purpose of the site, before any work is actually accomplished. This step is often missed by most. There is much more involved in any SEO campaign that simply setting about the random drive by shooting that most try to accomplish. By known, seeing and visualizing my success, I have already put into motion the necessary elements to achieve desired results.
Step Two: Intent and Purpose
Once I have a clear focus of exactly where I want to go with a domain name, then the next step is to evaluate what I am I trying to accomplish with this site. EMMALOTT.COM is a site that is designed to lead Google readers to a series of Ebay listings, where products can be purchased. It is NOT a sales pitch site, but rather a funnel that will eventually lead people over to an area where purchases can be made on certain products offered on Ebay. Keeping this one purpose in mind, then the next step is to create a site that will work in harmony with necessary elements to achieve the results I wish to see. In that area, I created a simple, yet somewhat appealing site with links that will eventually lead over to the products for sale. All of the elements of the site are locked into place; e.g., the title, metatag description and keywords are as I want them to be. IN other words, on EMMALOTT.COM, is now locked and loaded to begin the promoting process. I will make some elemental changes over time to increase the overall success of the domain name.
Step 3: Site Tracking
Website tracking is key to the process as one wants to view actual visits to the site, and evaluate if the traffic is coming from search engines, blogs, forums etc. The only tracking tool that I have ever seen that is non-invasive to a site, and provides the necessary information I need is called Veretracking. What Is A Keyword?
An index term, subject term, subject heading, or descriptor, in information retrieval, is a term that captures the essence of the topic of a document. They are used as keywords to retrieve documents in an information system, for instance, a catalog or a search engine. They are created by analyzing the document either manually with subject indexing or automatically with automatic indexing or more sophisticated methods of keyword extraction. Index terms can either come from a controlled vocabulary or be freely assigned.
Keywords are stored in a search index. Common words like articles (a, an, the) and conjunctions (and, or, but) are not treated as keywords because it is inefficient to do so. Almost every English-language site on the Internet has the article "the", and so it makes no sense to search for it. The most popular search engine, Google removed stop words such as "the" and "a" from its indexes for several years, but then re-introduced them, making certain types of precise search possible again.

How Do You Search on Google?
When attempting to market goods and services on the Internet, it is very easy to miss the details that can make the difference between placing your information will find it, and no on ever seeing that information. The fact of the matter is that if you know how to search and drill down on the Google search engine, you are more likely to see exactly how to market your business more successfully.
Consider that Google is like a giant encyclopedia or dictionary. One can literally find anything and everything they need to know about, by just placing in the right words, or keywords in the box. For example, typing in the name of a company, one would find anything that has been written about them located in this section on Google. Below, I will conduct a few simple, yet revealing facets concerning how to search on Google.
For this presentation, I will choose the name Veretekk, to set the stage for searching, and then drilling down further to see if this business is real, or simply the work of affiliates desperately trying to make money.
When I type in Veretekk on a Google search, I see that there seems to be a relatively high number of category entries. In other words, the name Veretekk has been mentioned on live submission services many times in the past. I can tell who is working the Veretekk business, but more importantly, I can see that the activity is impressive, and if I were wanting to subscribe to the system, I might just consider doing that. NOTE: Do NOT be logged into a Google account when searching. If you wish to gain a true count, you will have to log out of your Google account to see actual results! I see that there is apparently activity there, and I can read and research for myself, other people's reactions to both the site, and to the results by using the system.
I will now drill down, to learn even more. I will place in the Google search: links:www.veretekk.com on the Google, and see how many sites have mentioned them in some sort of live submission service.
Once again, I have uncovered more information concerning Veretekk.com, and now can review the different sites that are linking to, and discussing the system in detail. Veretekk, as seen on Statsie, is further revealed to the amount of sites that are in fact linking in, and I can further click those links, to drill down even more.
I could even research and drill down to find out how much Veretekk.com is worth on the open domain name market. On this site, StatsShow, a fair representation, and an even more indepth look at Veretekk.com can be revealing.
Now, one should be getting the point on how to check out a business model, or site, on Google, and drill down to a much greater degree, to see if the business model is showing excellent results, or rather, is someone simply trying to fake it until they make it, in terms of being a viable business in which to subscribe.

Since website design services is my business, I am always in the forward motion of designing, improvising, researching and developing sites to their maximum potential. This morning, I researched on Google, ButchHamilton.org. I found some interesting sites that speak about the website in detail, and I believe that this information could provide valuable information for my Google readers.

I got some flack when I made this recording. That's OK. I have many reasons as to why I made this public. Mostly because I have been and continue to be blessed in this calling.
I am not trying to pitch Veretekk as a Christian company, however, I think you deserve to know where I am coming from. Heck, I have been ripped off by more Christians than any other "religion". But faith is common ground for all of us. Even my atheist friends will admit that being an atheist takes faith as well.
And I have faith in spades.
But Veretekk is a calling and I am blessed with this company. Our main focus is reaching out and helping folks achieve their goals and make the world a better place. But be warned, on occasions I do get choked up and will give Jesus all the credit for my success.

Never Take Anything for Granted!
In marketing goods and services on Google, its very important, I believe, to never take anything at all for granted. When people are beginning to learn how to create websites, they think that they are becoming very proficient at the process. The fact of the matter is that unless money is being made by their efforts, they are missing, perhaps, the simplest element of all.
Are the readers actually taking time to view the site, or are they just clicking on it while surfing, and just going away? If they are in fact, finding the information on Google, but are not actually taking time to click on anything on the site, then all the writing and effort put into making the digital information will be wasted.
Case in Point.
I just added video overviews to two of my highest traffic websites. Butch Hamiltons Conference Room and Butch Hamilton Videos. These sites are consistently providing readers and viewers with the best and most solid information on the process called search engine optimization. I created these videos for the express purpose of providing real information about SEO. Honestly, most of the crap that we all see concerning the art and science of website promoting is just that. It is not worth the space or bandwidth that it takes up on the world wide web. My purpose on these two sites is unique in the industry, as I do provide real information that real people can benefit from reading and watching.
It is just common sense that providing good information is the key to success on the Internet. All work performed by people attempting to build solid incomes from a business on the Internet should take time to heed my words. Butch Hamilton is all about providing this type of information, and it has always provided me with excellent results.
Here is another excellent example of this process as provided by Tom Prendergast, the CEO and Founder of Veretekk. Its Good Business is a site that has been very popular, and provides site visitors with information that they can use to find a good business model. This story, while unusual for me, is dedicated to Tom Prendergast, the CEO of Veretekk, and Mike Darling the President. As anyone that knows me, or anything about my promoting style on Google should know, I am not that drawn to over exaggeration about anything. All of the information that I write about is factual, and contains little fanfare. I decided to tell first hand, the true essence of what the powerful system called Veretekk is really all about, as I witnessed that first hand in the trip that I made to Wyoming last week. This incredible journey was much more than just a casual business meeting, and I learned and absorbed the essence of the system, and even more, in the look inside the minds and the creators of the most powerful suite of SEO tools found on the Internet today. My journey began on Friday, 30, 2011 as I took off from Amarillo, Texas to meet Tom and Mike for the first time. I was looking forward to seeing the man behind the legendary system, and even though I did not have a clue what was in store for me in the days that followed

IN seeing him for the first time, I knew for a fact that we were actually brothers, not only in spirit, but in reality as well. This hefty and vital gentleman was exactly as I had pictured him to be, and honestly, the site of us together, was more like a meeting of the brothers of redneckville. We were busy already discussing the meeting, and what we would be accomplishing for our fellow Veretekk subscribers.
The journey towards Tom's home was inspiring, with miles of open country, mountains and plains. I am drawn to this type of country, as it is almost like Amarillo, minus the mountains. As we drove along, I began to absorb even more fully the goals of Veretekk, and I also got the distinct feeling with exactly the sort of person I had been dealing with remotely all these years. I was even more driven to succeed in telling everyone on the Internet that they need to become involved with Veretekk, as it is THE only system out on Google today that makes the dream of owning and growing a successful home business, the only logical choice for anyone to make.
As we approached home, and drove down the beautiful country lane, a feeling of peach and comfort surrounded the home, and I knew once again, that this was the place where magic and spirituality was about to happen.

I have to tell you that my first impression of Mike was extremely positive, and I do believe that he is one of the sharpest people that I have ever met. Once again, I was totally in the spirit of Veretekk, and I knew that this was the place for me to be. That day was like a reunion as we visited and spoke about our new plans for Veretekk. Tom prepared a gourmet meal, and yes his is actually a top level gourmet chef, that caters to the organic lifestyle to a tee. The whole fare was taken from his garden, and the food was nothing short of incredible.
The next day, we were meeting early in the morning, and literally covering all aspects of Veretekk, from top to bottom. This process was beginning the total renovation of Veretekk, and I could easily see that Mike was the genius programmer who would make this happen for the Veretekk subscribers. It was a total inspiration to watch Mike work, and I could see exactly why this system is unlike any other on the Internet today.
Once again, incredible organic gourmet foods were the standard, and we were certainly finely attuned to our Wyoming surrounds. I meditated in silence the next morning, and watched the sun come up over the mountains. I was very still and peaceful, and once again, I knew that this thing called Veretekk was much more than just a marketing system. For the corporate staff of Veretekk, Tom, Mike, Mariusz and myself, we are fully aware that it is a mission that we are on, and each of us are fully prepared to take Veretekk subscribers wherever they want to go.

Backlinks are an incredibly powerful, yet almost completely misunderstood system on the Internet today. There is too much misguided information, I thought it necessary to tell the true story concerning how to build backliinks to any site. You must follow each link that I post, to see the process in motion. This will give you a great insider look at this mysterious process, and hopefully provide you with some needed insight into making your own Internet experience more profitable.
Backlinks, also known as incoming links, inbound links, inlinks, and inward links, are incoming links to a website or web page. In basic link terminology, a backlink is any link received by a web node (web page, directory, website, or top level domain) from another web node.
Inbound links were originally important (prior to the emergence of search engines) as a primary means of web navigation; today, their significance lies in search engine optimization (SEO). I was reading a thread just last night night from supposed SEO guru talking about his secret way to earn money on the Internet. He had placed a link in the Warrior Forum thread, which, by the way, is just not something to do. He only had done two posts, which told me that he was your typical drive by forum poster. He had no interest at all in engaging and interacting with the other members of this forum. He was just out to post his special little SEO link that people needed so badly, oh yes, for the discounted price of $39.95!
This type of advertising is widespread on the Internet, to be assured. People and organizations making claims that cannot back up. So, just for kicks and giggles I visit his secret one of a kind SEO site. I saw the usual bolded and highlighted text, which told me that he was yet another fake it until you make it example of how NOT to run a successful business on the Internet.
I dug just a little deeper, and went to Alexa.com and did a check on that site. He did, in fact, have about sixty odd backlinks; however, almost all of the backlinks pointed to black hat forums and sites. Right there, was enough to tell me that this carnival show barker fell into an exact match that most in the SEO industry today do. That is, they are all out their pitching and making claims about their one of a kind SEO program that you need, in order to get your sites listed quickly on Google. Its just another prime example of how NOT to approach the Internet at all!
There are people and organizations in the SEO industry today that work hard to provide the best in site design, traffic generation and professional profile branding on the Internet. We have to compete against all these self-proclaimed SEO legends each and every day.
So, the inevitable question is this. Black hat or White hat SEO? The answer for me is quite obvious! Its white hat all the way!

The SEO industry as a whole is a cesspool of lies, scams, hype and utter nonsense. I see it every day. I see the supposed SEO companies that get paid big money to build a website, and then they are supposedly going to drive traffic to that site, and put it on top of Google for a client. I see these sites, and I have to wonder how could these people get away with literally raping their clients?
Anyone that knows the name Butch Hamilton, knows full well that I have been in the SEO industry for many years. I have seen them all come, and fall into obscurity. I have seen all the lies, hype, misrepresented claims of instant success, and more importantly I have seen, and worked for clients that literally have been raped by this industry. Having stated that fact, read on!
There Is Another Side to this Story!
Ok, so we have determined that people have spent good money for nothing, but the shoe fits on the other foot as well. How about people who tell us, people who work in the SEO industry every day, that they will surely send us money for doing them a job, and then simply go away, never to return? What about SEO people who get it from clients? Oh yeah, it happens, and it happens more than one might suspect.
Here is the true story of one that just happened to me just the other day. I was contacted by a person who wanted to see if I could run a campaign for a local collision repair shop in Tampa, Florida. I said that I would take a look at the possibility of running a regionalized SEO campaign. I did the research, and saw that this term on Google was open, and very rich with traffic as well. This was for a friend of a friend. He informed me that this person was suffering, and had already paid good money for a site and supposed traffic, but nothing was happening. I looked at the site, and once again, the age old story about this SEO company has not done their job at all, and the site would never be seen on Google! Yet another example of SEO bad news in motion.
Since the person who called me was a (so-called) friend, I said that I would reduce my initial price, and do the work. I set about the path of domain searches and found incredible domain names for this business. They are: http://tampafloridatowing.com and http://tampafloridacollisionrepair.com These domains are rich with potential and traffic, but little did I know just how rich they were! I went ahead, something I almost never do, and purchased the domains, and created blogs on those to begin the process. I wait, but no response from the client via email. He did phone, and say that he would contact me soon with the money. I wait again, nothing. So, I contact my friend, and you know what he said? "Well Butch, he is having a real hard time financially, so I told him that you would do the work for this amount of money instead!" This guy had now become my go between for me? Seriously, are you kidding me! Hey, I am a good old boy, but I am not old, and I am not that good!
I study the domains carefully, and decide to pursue them with the usual diligence, with one major difference. If you go to: Tampa Florida Towing, and Tampa Florida Collision Repair, and click on the links within those sites, you will see that they redirect back to my sites. I already have good traffic generating, well over 200 visits, and rank on Google as well.
Too bad for this clown, as if he wanted to come back and get me to do the work now, guess what? My price just went up!
I plan on hosting those domain names forever, and will consider selling them, only at a hefty price in the future. So, let me ask the reader a question. Is it always the SEO client that gets ripped off, and who will eventually win this game? FYI: I just built some backlinks for those sites...making them even better!

This timely and thought provoking video by Butch Hamilton, offers Google readers an insider look at the world of podcasting. It is interesting to know what a Podcast really is.
A Podcast (or non-streamed webcast) is a series of digital media files (either audio or video) that are released episodically and often downloaded through web syndication. The word replaced webcast in common use with the success of the iPod and its role in the rising popularity and innovation of web feeds.
The mode of delivery differentiates podcasting from other means of accessing media files over the Internet, such as direct download, or streamed webcasting. A list of all the audio or video files currently associated with a given series is maintained centrally on the distributor's server as a web feed, and the listener or viewer employs special client application software known as a podcatcher that can access this web feed, check it for updates, and download any new files in the series. This process can be automated so that new files are downloaded automatically. Files are stored locally on the user's computer or other device ready for offline use, giving simple and convenient access to episodic content. Commonly used audio file formats are Ogg Vorbis and MP3. In many respects, this is closer to traditional publishing models associated with books and magazines (as opposed to radio, which uses a live stream).
Academics at the Community, Journalism & Communication Research group at the University of Texas at Austin in the USA are proposing a four-part definition of a Podcast: A Podcast is a digital audio or video file that is episodic; downloadable; program-driven, mainly with a host and/or theme; and convenient, usually via an automated feed with computer software.
A much better definition of the Podcast is simply an MP3 recording which has been uploaded to a server, and is available via a link. After the Podcast link is made, then the process of promoting that link can take place on the search engines.
Though many Podcast services are available, I choose TalkShoeRadio as one of the best I have found. Ease of operation and setup, with a very substantial Alexa.com ranking, certainly makes TalkShoe a very popular Podcast service. In this Website Review by Butch Hamilton, we are going to look closely at an experiment in SEO using this site: DEBBIEHAMILTON.NET as the core of that process.
Initially, the clean and crisp site is a WordPress blog, that has been fully utilized for the professional branding of Debbie Hamilton. The articles being placed within the site are talking more about Debbie, who she is, what she is involved in, and of course, is promoting her business model called Celebrating Home Catalogs.
The site in question loads very quickly, and is easy to read for the Google surfers. Since I know the importance of name branding on the Internet, rather than pitching deals, this site represents that plan to a tee.
Even though the Alexa.com ranking is still very high, it has come down from a no rank just one short week ago, to its place now at around 7 million. I personally am never concerned about where we started on any site, but rather watch the eventual climb to success on Google that I am choosing to take the site.
I project that in the near future, DEBBIEHAMILTON.NET will be doing quite well by fully implementing the SEO process. As usual Veretekk: Celebrating Home Catalogs, plays an integral part in process, as the backlinks that are being created come from the SEO system.

I am always in the forward motion of website development. Looking, researching, testing and analyzing both the overall appearance of a website, the coding and fully considering the reader of said site, is all part of the process called search engine optimization services.
Today, I am going to explore two different sites that I am developing for the SEO campaign for Veretekk. I was chosen by Tom Prendergast, the CEO and Founder of Veretekk, to begin promoting the system of Veretekk to the world. Granted, affiliate members can also accomplish this; however, this is a different sort of campaign, as what we find in Veretekk is the fact that most are trying to "sell" people on the idea of having an automated marketing system, rather than digging much deeper, and giving benefits, solutions and reasons to subscribe to Veretekk.
Two sites are currently live on the Internet. I will go into some detail here to explain the campaign, and to talk about the results already being seen from this novel new approach.
Veretekk Inside Story is the first that will soon to be a long line of sleek and functional sites. I am not at all about flash and hype; therefore my approach speaks very well for the system as Veretekk is not a flashy business plan. It is simply THE plan for those who want and need to become educated in the real art and science of obtaining top positions on Google for their respective marketing sites. In my opinion, this site very well tells the real story behind the most substantial suite of SEO tools yet created for online promoting. There is a simple video that explains the problems in the industry of creating wealth, and a simple subscription page, whereby anyone can subscribe, and for only $54.95 per month, can come and learn search engine optimization and how to fully integrate that process into any marketing campaign.

This new conceptual design for mobile websites is plain, but for good reason. After researching more deeply into the whole scheme of .MOBI domains and websites for mobile phones, there is definitely patterns and designs that need to be fully considered.
After sifting through the garbage on the net concerning .MOBI domain names, and then finding trusted sites that tell the true story, I found that the mobile website should be very simple and clean in both design and coding. There is not much room for error in this category, and the guidelines should be followed carefully on the W3School.com site. I did some extensive research and testing, and found a good website emulator which I used to run further tests on BUTCHHAMILTON.MOBI. The site finally rated about 86% for over all mobile site criteria.
After the initial groundwork was laid, and the coding taken out on the WordPress blog that advertises other people's information, (and by the way, that piece of info right there is something to pay close attention to.), then the process of promoting the site to the position that I desire on Google begins.
I chose Butch Hamilton Mobile Site as the beginning for the SEO campaign. For some reason, I was called by the universe just a few short days ago to begin to grasp the concept of the mobile phone market. As a matter of fact, you could call the process that I use called visualization, become a real entity concerning choosing this approach to online marketing. I do not believe in thinking inside a particular box where you are restricted to specific ways to build stable business models. I believe that we all must pursue whatever techniques work for us, on an individual basis, and never be held hostage by our thinking.
When I did some initial keyword research on Google for .MOBI, I was amazed at the popularity of the keyword term. Over 7 million searches are logged for this term. I begin to understand a little more about the keyword, and at the other associated keywords that deal with the mobile phone market. I also know that most people seem to be irrevocably tied to their cell phones as they go through their day. They are either talking, texting or surfing the web, and so the formulation in my mind, and the importance of me implementing proven techniques and strategies for obtaining top positions on Google became ever clearer to me.
Since I really knew nothing about creating a mobile phone site, the process took me once again to Google where I discovered that a site of this nature is certainly different from standard blogs. I begin to piece together the site itself, and even though it may be very plain for the Google surfer to view, BUTCHHAMILTON.MOBI does prove about 87% of the necessary elements needed for mobile phone site applications.
As I stated before, the site will be a work in progress; however, I already have much information concerning the hows and whys of search engine optimization, Veretekk and other paths that I pursue in my online marketing process.

The .MOBI market on Google is huge. After conducting keyword research on the term, Butch Hamilton pursues, once again, thinking outside the box, and goes directly for the mobile market with the new domain name: BUTCHHAMILTON.MOBI This site is going to be a constant work in progress. I had purchased the .MOBI domain name some time ago, but had not fully realized at that point, that the whole aspect of building a site is much different, than for constructing, say a WordPress blog. I began to research and look at other sites, and chose this template with which to begin the process.
Since I am fully dedicated to the idea of self promotion on Google, as being the only viable solution for marketers in today's Internet economy, naturally, I am choosing Butch Hamilton as the subject material.
This will be a most interesting test as I have not pursued articles and websites geared directly for the mobile phone market. I will be in the constant forward motion of promoting this site to Butch Hamilton, and also for the term Search Engine Optimization Services. Like any project that I pursue, I will be tracking my progress both on Alexa.com and the search engines as well to determine if the .MOBI domain is indeed a viable resource to pursue.

dotMobi does not itself mandate any particular technology, but does require that .mobi sites produce user experiences consistent with their guidelines and specifically optimized for mobile phones.
The domain has been the target of criticism due to allegedly breaking the principles of device independence. Providing content tailored to particular devices can be done by other means than a specific TLD, such as using hostnames within an existing domain, HTTP content negotiation, cascading style sheets, or other forms of adaptation.
There are technical solutions that provide similar benefits as mobi: compressing/downsampling proxy servers and microbrowsers, like Opera Mobile, which can tailor any website to small display (using Small Screen Rendering technique). However, these browsers must still download an entire page (with graphics and other related files) which, if not optimized for mobile phones, can be time-consuming and expensive to download. To improve the latter issue, the two adaptation techniques can be used together. This is the idea behind proxy-based microbrowsers like Opera Mini that download the optimized and compressed version of web pages through dedicated proxy servers. However, web pages viewed on a mobile via a proxy-based microbrowser are rarely specifically designed for a mobile phone, so it is left up to the proxy server and browser to decide what to compress, what to display, and how to display it, which, unlike the .mobi version of the site, may not necessarily be how the web page owner intends for the mobile audience.
There are also specialized content adaptation solutions, that typically operate on a server, where they employ specialized adaptation techniques to provide optimized representations of Web sites to mobile devices regardless of what browser they use. However, .mobi replaces the intermediary step with the specific adaptation of content for viewing on a mobile phone.
The W3C is also developing new authoring languages, such as DIAL (the Device Independent Authoring Language), which aid authors in creating Web sites that can be used on the huge variety of mobile devices available today. Some adaptation solutions already support the use of DIAL and similar languages in creating sites that can be used with .mobi domain names. Other open source initiatives include WURFL which addresses the problem with a large database of browser identification strings.
All mobi sites must be optimized for viewing on a mobile phone, providing the major advantage of the domain, from the users' perspective, of compatible content. This means, websites may be optimized for the special capabilities and restrictions of mobile devices, such as smaller screens, device form/size, device input/output options, existence of embedded sensors (acceleration, location, touch, etc.), as well as human factors such as expectations of immediacy of results, context awareness under a shortened attention span (compared to home use of the Internet). Although other top-level domains can technically employ the same optimizations for mobile phones, in practice, only a fraction of them do, thus necessitating content adaptation solutions. These retrofit the content to target devices independent from the original process of creating the site. On the other hand, dotMobi promotes creating two separate device-dependent World Wide Webs, one desktop-based and the other mobile-based, and thus risks producing redundant content. From a content provider perspective, having to maintain two separate website also represents more work."

I wonder how many people who currently own domain name websites really take the time, or make the effort, to dig deeply within their own site, and discover new techniques and strategies, often called search engine optimization services, that will enhance their money making efforts from that so-called good looking website?
It has been my experience over the years, that most simply move too fast to develop even one website to the full extent. They are busy trying to create backlinks, writing content rich articles for site promoting, and are busy trying to figure out how all this works in terms of actually being able to create something digital on the world wide web, have people come to it, and buy something, or at least become a prospect. Too often, I believe that we are, in most cases, putting the cart before the horse. Since being in the search engine optimization services field, I take searching on Google to, perhaps, a different level than most. I want to find real information, from real people who are constantly improving their site for content, services and other products that i may be looking for.
When I come across a site where some so-called SEO guru or company, I always begin by searching their name. If they are really who they say they are, then finding them on the Internet, then they may be worth reading about. If they are not found anywhere, then I figure that they are just like the other 95% of people trying to fake it until they make it in this industry.
Take Butch Hamilton for instance. This is a keyword term on Google. This name stands for search engine optimization. This name stands for hours of countless hours of work, sweat, blood and tears to get to this point in time. It is called branding, and it is the most important element needed in the entire SEO process. I use the Google search to research, test, find information and evaluate the performance of sites claiming to be something special. If I find that they are not that, then I fly quickly past them to find the real answers to my questions.

Inspiration VS Perspiration
Since working on the Internet entered into my life some eight years ago, or more, it is becoming more apparent to me that the whole process called search engine optimization services is not just a job, it is a real passion that I possess. The inspiration that came to me in that brilliant flash of light one day was that I was to do something totally different with my life. My background in welding and construction for thirty years or so was going to take a welcome back seat to this whole process of working in front of a computer screen. Obviously, since becoming married at the ripe old age of twenty, there came the natural progression of jobs, raising children and basically working with my hands to support my family. All of the writing dreams and goals had been put on the back burner, to support my family in the only way that I knew how. I did not write, I worked. I did not become inspired, I simply perspired each and every day, toiling away at my chosen expertise of welding, construction and maintenance. That was a time, and it seems so long ago now, that I do not wish to return to. Honestly, I have fixed, repaired, built and worked on almost every type of equipment on the planet. Today, I shutter if I have to pick up a screwdriver to fix a door handle.
The point that I am making is the fact that each and every one of us walking on this planet today has a special talent or gift that can be brought out in some way. Whether it be writing, speaking, creating, selling or simply conveying ideas to others, we should all try to become inspired to accomplish great things in the he limited time that we have here on this earth. And, by the way, our time is limited you know. It slips by now faster and faster, and unless we choose to reach out and go for broke, we will awaken one day, and it will all be nothing but yet another unfilled dream.
I had a thought just a couple of days ago. I thought what makes Anthony Robbins, Dr. Robert Schuller, Earl Nightingale, John Wayne, Gregory Peck, Jimmy Stewart and other great personalities different from us? Honestly, they were better at the art of self promotion. They knew that the only way to gain notoriety was to promote and be themselves..
In that same line of thinking, you will find the last article I wrote titled: "The Art of Professional Branding" very interesting and thought provoking as well.
I will close with this story that happened just yesterday. A friend called me from up North. I will call him Bob. Now Bob is a classic example of someone seeking to find his niche in life on the Internet. Bob has been into many deals over the years, and he always calls me up, "just to take a look," at his newest widget business, and get my professional opinion of it. Bob is pitching me, but he does not want me to think that I am being pitched a new deal. With my special talent for search engine optimization services, it is natural for people to contact me, and want me to join their business. In other words, they want me to work for free, which I personally have a very big dislike in doing. I work for money, not for making someone else rich. I conduct SEO campaigns like no one on the planet earth can accomplish, but not for free. But back to the story about Bob.
So Bob has found another great MLM business, that is barely five years old with a new product that is going to revolutionize the health industry. It is a one of kind brand new secret formula that was developed by a team of experts that just want to help people. Their is nothing else like it, and the corporate staff is fully prepared to help their distributors in marketing this product. The fact is; however, the corporate staff knows absolutely nothing about online promoting. They want people to just go out and tell all of their friends and family about this product, and they will be successful.
I asked Bob one simple question. "Have you promoted yourself, Bob?" He had to pause with his pitch, and told me no. I explained why in this day and age on the Internet, it is very important not to promote affiliate links. Bob was very polite and listened, I thought, to the words I was speaking. However, at the end of the conversation, Bob set about once again to tell me of the company, the product, the compensation, the money to be made and how this product is going to be the up and coming MLM company that everyone will want to jump in on at the top.
The point, Bob does not get it, and never will. Unless we can learn to creatively portray ourselves in a professional manner, BEFORE we pitch our business, we will simply fall into the same old trap as everyone else does on the Internet. Money spent, work done and no money in the bank at the end of the month.

I just finished an article early this morning concerning the importance of professional branding on Google. The proper way to approach this is to write creatively about yourself, BEFORE you start the process of promoting your latest and greatest widget business.

Developing that type of thinking towards the process of gaining presence on Google for your information, you eliminate most of the problems found in this industry with trying to promote affiliate links. The Art of Professional Branding
I received a call just a couple of days ago from a person who was wanting to get her business up and running, and she had questions concerning the process. She asked me how to go about getting her new business off to a great start. She shared a few details about the business model, why it was so good, why it could produce money better than anything that she had previously seen, and the story goes on
These stories that I write about all come from actual experiences in dealing with people and their online businesses over the last eight years or more. I could not even begin to make up these stories, so keep that in mind when reading this site all dedicated to promoting me, Butch Hamilton.
The story continues how she had gotten injured, and was looking for a way to create money from a work from home business model. In the middle of the conversation, I asked some simple and direct questions so that I could determine her mindset and thinking towards the business. I needed to know if the business she was promoting was indeed a good one, or only perceived by her, as being one that is sustainable.
It turned out that is was some type of reselling program whereby she could earn so much money over selling private label rights of other work, that other people had done. You know the drill, right? ClickBank is the name of the game in her opinion. Now personally, I do not promote this type of business model, as I know for a fact that self promotion, and the ability to promote yourself first on Google is the key to gaining presence on the Internet, but more importantly, you need to have standing and presence on your name, in order to build trust with your potential clients and customers with any Internet business.
I asked her if she was promoting herself, and the conversation quickly went silent. She informed me that she had thought about doing that, but had really not gotten her head wrapped around that concept at all. To clarify this for her, I simply asked her to type in Butch Hamilton on a Google search, and tell me what she saw. She asked which link that I was wanting her to view, and I informed her that the first 100 PAGES, NOT LINKS were mine! She seemed to stop dead in her tracks, and try to evaluate what I had just told her to view.
The name Butch Hamilton is one that can certainly be searched on the Internet for information about who I am and what I do. My phone number, found below, can be typed in and there are tens of thousands of Google entries on that. My name is actually a searched term on Google!
I told her that this is the path which she should travel. Promoting our names, who we are and what we do is far more valuable than promoting some type of affiliate links. You see, everyone out on the Internet is all about promoting their one of a kind super affiliate cash generating wealth business. But in reality, they are promoting digital trash. People do not join businesses on the net. People join other people. It is just that simple.
In order to sum up this article about professional profile branding, we closed this conversation with a question from her. "So, what would I write about me?" I knew for a fact at that point that she was going to have a very hard time promoting herself to anyone, much less sitting down in front of the PC and writing articles about herself. I also know that unless she could accomplish this, she would simply drift around in obscurity with the 95% of others who do exactly the same thing.
